Event Description
Join us for a special event featuring “Grace” the Austin Healey 100 with a remarkable back story. GRACE is an Austin Healey 100 purchased in a derelict state from eBay suffering from deleterious rust and poor oil pressure.
Her owner was given a near death sentence from his oncologist but a few stalwart members of his local car club decided to inspire him by using this unlikely candidate complete a coast-to-coast-to-coast drive to prove that sometimes the impossible is possible, given hope, faith, and random acts of kindness of strangers and friends.
We are expecting a great turnout from several of the people who were involved with rebuilding the car, and they will share their stories:
John Nikas, the man behind the car and traveled thousands of miles to visit cancer patients in this dilapidated car, as well as Andy Reid from ClassicCars.com as well as visitors from various car clubs are expected to attend.
