Event Description

Albert Mach's - Escape to the Mountains 2016 "Schooners" will feature:

43 large, beautiful images of historic ships some from the 1800s.
There will be histories of these amazing schooners.
There will be 10 large historic charts of the coast these historic vessels plied.
Some of the charts are from the 1600s, 1700s, 1800s, & early 1900s!
There will be other large "Bird's Eye views" of some of the locations from 100 years ago.
You will be treated to many 100+ year old photos as well as post card images of these areas featuring schooners and steam ships giving you a feeling of life back then.
Finally presented, will be an interesting pictorial discussion of the Portland Observatory used in the days of these vessels.
Total presentation will be over 100 large images some as big as 4 feet high and 6 feet wide.
